About the Art:

Looking for another take on our beautiful SC flag, and because we hate to be wasteful, this three-dimensional sculpture of a palmetto tree and moon is handcrafted entirely from scrap steel. Fred Moore welds pieces together to make this 3 dimensional piece for your wall and includes a flat crescent shape to be displayed along side it. Meant to be be enjoyed indoors or out, he treats the steel to give it a rust patina unique to every tree. If you choose to hang it outdoors, we recommend application of a mat urethane spray if you wish to slow nature's effects.

• Small 3D is approx 11 inches tall and 8.5 inches wide (at its widest point). It projects from the wall to almost 5 inches. The moon has a diameter of 4.5 inches. This piece weighs about 4 pounds.

• Medium 3D is approx 17 inches tall and 11 inches wide (at its widest point). It projects from the wall almost 8 inches. The moon has a diameter of 7 inches. This piece weighs about 7 pounds.
